Adobe's CS manuals

According to the Creativeprose newsletter, Adobe's forthcoming Creative Suite suite will not included printed manuals. There will be a guide about how the applications work together, but documentation for the individual products will be provided in PDF. Some customers are already planning on how to best print the manuals themselves.

Adobe has been putting a lot of work into their Help as of late, with both Acrobat Professional and Photoshop Elements offering task-based assistants and access methods that break out of the usual "Help menu" design. Perhaps this PDF-only move is the first step in using Help as their primary documentation format.
