An archive of example manuals

I started the Gallery of Onscreen Help in order to provide user assistance designers with a source of inspiration and competitive comparison. Doing something similar for manuals would be a much more complicated project.

Fortunately, it's not really necessary, as there are now countless publications available on the web. If you haven't visited your competition's site and downloaded all their user guides, what are you waiting for?

If you're in the games business, the website Replacement Docs will make it even easier. It's a comprehensive repository of manuals that you can mine for good instructional ideas.
