Annotating Onscreen Help
If you're considering letting your customers contribute to your onscreen documentation, take a peek at the approach used by W1N5T0N. It's a site that features user-contributed content related to a science fiction novel (Little Brother by Cory Doctorow) but the design is very interesting. Each paragraph is numbered and related comments are noted, but hidden by default. The site is implemented using a WordPress plug-in called digress.it.
