Safety warnings inspire spoof

As printed documentation continues to shrink in page count, and sometimes in page size too as evidenced by the latest iPod manuals, legal and safety requirements reduce some books to being mostly a collection of warnings, notices, and advisories. Making this sort of information interesting and compelling is a challenge. The Japanese manual for the Nintendo Wii makes a valiant attempt with its uniquely stylized illustration style.

In fact, the illustrations inspired a Missing Pages spoof from the artists at the Icon Factory. Now when was the last time a product manual inspired anything, let alone creativity?
