In pursuit of linguistics

Geoffrey K. Pullum, writing for the weblog Language Log offers some acute observations on a common Mac OS X security-related dialog box. Nevertheless, the discussion of adopting different perpectives, even those that are hyperbolic, is a useful professional exercise.
