Childhood instruction manual

Jeffrey Lee's Catch a Fish, Throw a Ball, Fly a Kite: Twenty-on Timeless Skills Every Child Should Know is a manual for childhood. It also appears to have all the hallmarks of a minimalist instructional approach--task orientation, acknowledgment of the user's existing skills, an emphasis on 'doing' instead of 'reading', and impasse orientation (that is, troubleshooting). Note the audience, however, is parents. The same instructional approach would work for kids, but the content would need to be adjusted accordingly.
