Visit the Hall of Technical Documentation Weirdness

Darren Barefoot's Hall of Technical Documentation Weirdness is fun. It's a small (but growing) collection of strange examples of documentation, with a particular focus on illustration. It's refreshing because it doesn't focus on bad writing (of which there are too many examples), it instead presents surreal and inexplicable real-life examples.

My favorite, so far, is actually a great example of task-based, contextual Help. The keys to this important principal is anticipating user's questions and writing with the user's perspective. The "Treatment for Tear Gas" instructions printed on the side of tear gas canister demonstrates this fairly well.
